Design Compendium is a multidisciplinary design/build firm in the heart of Brooklyn, NY. Guided by co-founders, Lou Mahr and Godfrey Rayner, we strive for quality and perfection in all the work we produce, taking our inspiration and creative vision from nature and classic forms.

Design Compendium got its start in retail design, and for twenty-one years we have been providing clients such as GUCCI, CHANEL, and COLE HAAN with their Visual Merchandising, Retail Development, and Branding requirements both nationally and internationally.

During the past six years we have responded to the growing needs of the Architecture and Interior Architecture industries. We recognize these development opportunities as a means to grow our services and influence in the design industry.
