When the industry was changing around him, Godfrey decided to make a change.
Godfrey made his way to Orlane Skincare a representative for them and completely enjoyed working there.
He was later poached by Guerlain first as an account executive servicing major department stores in the greater London metropolis. Due to his great achievements he was then invited by Guerlain to become the Creative Director of Special Events and Promotions.
Because of his success as Creative Director, he was asked to come to the United States to launch Guerlain skincare and fragrances such as Jardins de Bagattelle & Samsara, which were instant hits in the American market.
Godfrey then expanded his responsibilities, creating boutiques for stores within stores and training sales staff nationally and internationally. He was also a spokesperson for Guerlain making numerous television and radio broadcasts.
During his successful tenure with Guerlain, Godfrey met Lou Mahr at a bus stop and they forged a friendship that has lasted as long as their company has been in existence.
Godfrey has become known for his voice-over techniques used for radio and television commercials and sales promotion videos.
